Zsadány Vécsey

Founding Member of the KEMPELEN Academy of Sciences Foundation
Zsadány Vécsey is a sociologist, business leader, and author. He earned a degree
in Corporate Sociology from the Budapest University of Economics
(now Corvinus University of Budapest), followed by an international MBA
through a joint program of the university and London Business School.
Professional Career
He began his professional career in the Tax and Legal Advisory team of the
Budapest office of Coopers & Lybrand.
He later became Managing Director of IQ Consulting Ltd.,
where he led the introduction and representation of major international
brands in Central Europe, including the
LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY™ leadership and organizational development
methodology and the CDP® European Union competitiveness
assessment framework.
The innovative leadership development approach he represents resulted in
the creation of me-Learning®, which within a short time became
one of Central Europe’s strongest simulation-based e-learning brands.
As co-owner and Professional Director of ALEAS Simulations, Inc.
(Budapest and Los Angeles), he considers it a key personal mission to harness
the benefits of creatively combining video games and educational software
for leadership development.
Innovation and International Recognition
In 2007, he initiated and led the “FLOW is Good Business™” (FLIGBY®)
project in California, aiming to translate the world-renowned
flow theory of Professor Mihály Csíkszentmihályi into an e-learning
leadership development experience.
In 2012, the development team he led received the award for
the world’s best game-based online leadership development application
at the International Serious Play Awards in Seattle.
Authorship
He is the author of the highly successful book “On the Edge of Chaos”,
and a co-author of the volume “Missing Link Discovered”.
